The story
How a word switched sides
In Venezuela, boleta was how you said someone was too much: too loud, too shiny, too street. It came with a frown.
We grew up hearing it and it never sounded like a flaw. It sounded like personality. That's what happens to words when people decide to keep them.
We're the first to put it on clothing and take it out of the country. Today there are people in Madrid, Miami and Berlin wearing a word they can't even pronounce, and that's perfect.
We kept the word.
